Mark Bray est historien de l’Europe moderne à l’Université Rutgers. Ses recherches portent sur le radicalisme, la violence politique et, plus récemment, les escroqueries. Il est l’auteur, entre autres ouvrages, de Antifa : The Anti-Fascist Handbook et de The Anarchist Inquisition : Assassins, Activists and Martyrs in Spain and France.
